why blogspot?

It'll be so much easier if I used tumblr, since all the pictures I find are from the site. So why blogspot? I don't want to feel like I'm writing for someone else to read/follow. 
I kept a xanga from '07-'09 before I started this site. Since it was set on private, i wrote mostly negative things and it was starting to be repetitive blogging about the same person. Which is why I needed a change. It was the only way to get me from writing about other things. Knowing that it can be viewed by anyone, I can keep it rather positive and more varied.
Some days the posts will be more formal; though most days you will find informal posts with many grammar errors. And did I mention, I have a limited amount of vocabulary? I like to stick with small words rather than complex words, since they all have similar meanings anyways. 
Yup this is just a place where I can put whats on my mind into words, and look back at the posts days, weeks, months ahead.
