Remembering

maybe it was first period and we just came back from waking up at 9:30 for the past two days but I was a little surprised when no one in gov knew why veterans day is set on November 11th. poppy distribution is unique to Canada but there has to be some sort of school-wide recognition here. there is no assembly like what I'm used to. so tomorrow at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, pause what you're doing for a moment of silence and think about the significance of this holiday. yes, we can sleep in but this day off is so much more than that. lest we forget.
